E. was a DREAM baby!  Only 6 weeks old, and she gave me some of the best eye contact that you could ever ask for out of a baby her age.  And she did so good during her session tonight.   Her mom said she almost had to cancel this weekend because of a issue with baby E., but I’m SO glad she didn’t!  Then I wouldn’t have had the chance to photograph her when she’s in this super snuggly phase.  Ahhh…she even SMELLED good like a baby should.

Isn’t she a doll?  I just wanna pinch her cheeks.

I absolutely cannot wait for this baby. This client is a friend of mine, and she just has THE best family. I can’t wait for this new little girl to get here so I can snuggle her!

Oh, and she’s just about the cutest pregnant lady you’ve ever seen, so you almost wanna hate her. But you can’t because she’s just too darn nice.

This is I. born 5 weeks early, just two days after Christmas. So tiny, at just a little over 5 pounds, he was sleepy and warm in his parents hands. He only spent a couple of hours in the NICU for observation, and went home on schedule with his mommy! I think someone forgot to give him the memo that he’s a preemie, but that’s a good thing, right?

Don’t you just wanna snuggle him?

I’ve had clients come from as far as 3 hours away to get their portraits taken, and it’s always an honor when someone chooses to travel that far so that I can be their photographer.  J.’s parents came down from Chicago for a session yesterday, and we had a lot of fun.  We had a blast playing music for him, mostly Benny Hill music! to make him laugh.  And it worked!

He’s one fantastic kid, I tell ya.
