That’s what J. is!  With the teeniest pregnant belly ever!  So cute!  She and her husband are expecting their first baby in a couple of months, and you can tell that they are both really excited.  And J. was just GLOWING…just like a beautiful pregnant mama should!

Teething is never.  ever.  EVER fun.  But this afternoon G. seemed to make it look easy!  You’d never know that he has just sprouted two teeny tiny teeth with that infectious grin!

…with all the focus on her! Here’s a sneak peek from a family session from this morning. It was a perfect morning! Not too cool, not too hot…just right!

As for the picture, I know what you might think ‘Wait Kristi…why aren’t they in focus in the background? Did you screw up?’. The answer is NO WAY! I love images like this, where the focus is intentionally placed to bring focus to the subject! During their family shoot, I wanted a couple of shots with the parents in the background, and R. up front, being adorable.

Because as parents, isn’t that how it really is?

And there’s not one thing wrong with it!

From my second Celebrating Adoption session of the day (I only do two a month, and I did two in one day today! Whew!)

Here’s J. with her daughter A. A. was a DOLL BABY! So cute, and she had this fiery little personality that just made you giggle. And the most expressive face! We had to bribe her with cookies, but man, did they work. I really loved doing this session, and love this family too. You can really tell they love each other SO much, which makes taking their pictures that much more enjoyable.

I had 2 Celebrating Adoption sessions today, and here’s one from the first. Here we have O. and D. They are only 7 months apart in age, but O. is such a tall girl! And she loved hugging and kissing her brother D. It was so cool this morning, and still a little foggy and misty, and it just made this photo dreamy & yummy. I just love how they are holding hands, stepping up to take off down the path, and the light was just making them glow.

You would have thought I was the coolest person in the WORLD when I suggested some bubbles for my recent session with A. She LOVED the bubbles…and became a little demanding for them (all in a cute way, of course!).

She kept reaching for them to pop them, and it made for some VERY cute pictures!

And yes, that’s a REAL bubble!

This is I., our fresh faces winner for ages 6+. She was SO full of energy! She had a blast running around the playground, but never hesitated to stop and strike the funniest poses. And she was so serious about it! And the poor thing had a tooth that just wouldn’t fall out! I told her my dad would have tied a string around it and tied the other end to a doorknob & shut the door. Hah!
I loved her blonde hair, and the way the sun would catch it just right.
