Catching up on some older session – here is baby K., sweet as can be.

M. and C. came in yesterday for their maternity session yesterday and it went great!  M. brought along some fun clothing and jewelry selections that brought depth & texture to her pictures.  They are anxiously awaiting the birth of their baby in March and I can’t wait either – that is gonna be one gorgeous baby, I just know it.

So I might be crazy.  Just a tad.  I’m 38 weeks pregnant, it’s July, and I completed a newborn session yesterday!  I just couldn’t resist – I love newborns.  A. is 3 weeks old, and was super snuggly…it’s a good thing I’m due in 2 weeks because otherwise I think I might have gone into baby fever overdrive.  I even got a smile or two, complete with a single dimple, which his Mommy told me comes from his daddy.  Adorable!

I’ll be updating with some other sessions I’ve done this summer later on this weekend – I’m FINALLY going to catch up on my blogging before the baby comes!  For those who are wondering, I’m officially on maternity leave, and will be on leave throughout the rest of the summer.  I will be accepting select sessions for clients throughout September, and will resume normal sessions in October.  If you are are interested in a session or are due in October & beyond, feel free to contact me to book your session now, to get on my schedule.

I was so excited when Theresa & Andrew let me play today – I love it when clients let me try some new things.  So when I got out Maggie’s Baby Alive and her fingerpaint, and they didn’t flinch, I ran with it.  And we came out with some pretty cool teeny tiny baby feet.  I am in LOVE with this image.  Just in love.  So thank you, Theresa & Andrew, for not thinking I was crazy – at least for this.  You guys were a lot of fun – I can’t wait to meet your little one!

Here is 9 month old D., who came up all the way from Bloomington for his session today.   I’m so glad you came all this way, E., for the session today, and I’m humbled that you chose me to help remember this very special time in your new relationship with your son.   I was so happy to see this first image when I uploaded your pictures, because I just know that this is what you wanted to capture – how happy you both are together.

Don’t you just want to squeeze him?  I loved him!

Seriously.  I love love LOVE the fall colors here.  Aren’t they beautiful?  The gorgeous couple doesn’t hurt either, huh?

C. came in for her 3rd session of her baby plan today. This is such a fun (and challenging) age! C. is so petite she fit into a 0-3 month onesie that I used for one of the outfits! She’s just the tiniest little cute button of a baby. P.S. The pink outfit was her mommys when SHE was a baby! I love it when clients bring heirloom clothing!

Another sweet baby G. this week!  This little peanut is already a month old, but still teeny because he decided to make his grand entrance before everyone was ready for him!  Sounds like he is going to be keeping his family on their toes for a while.  He was super sweet, didn’t even cry ONCE in our 2 hour session….and didn’t pee either!  How’s that for cooperation?

G.’s daddy loves football, so we had to do a football pose.  What a sweetie!

P.S. I love hairy newborn backs *giggles!*   Maggie still has the most hairy neck and I think it’s just adorable.
